This specialized nesting unit provides a quiet and dark space for hens to lay their eggs. It features an asphalt roof that offers excellent weather protection if placed in an open run or a partially covered area. The addition of a roosting perch bar allows birds to rest comfortably outside the nesting compartments.

The construction focuses on providing a stable and secure environment for poultry. The asphalt shingles help regulate temperature inside the boxes and prevent water leaks from reaching the bedding. This set is an excellent addition to an existing coop that needs more egg-laying capacity or a dedicated roosting spot.

Maintenance is simple due to the accessible design of the compartments. The materials used are chosen for their ability to withstand the pecking and scratching of active birds. It serves as a functional upgrade for any backyard poultry setup, ensuring that hens have a consistent and protected place for their daily needs.
